It's time for a drinks break

I’m off to the West Indies for a few weeks to watch some test cricket, so Aussienomics will be taking a short break. This is somewhat of a bucket list trip—I’ve always wanted to visit the Caribbean while the Australian test side is over there, and they just don’t go all that often: the last tour was a decade ago!

So, my wife and I are making the 40+ hour trek from Perth to Barbados and Grenada to catch some of the action. I’m hoping to squeeze in some writing while I’m over there—but given that about half the trip will be spent on a relatively small boat, that may be a touch optimistic.
